8 Jan 2010 - day 8

ok - so what's new... the snow? nope.. the cold? nope.. lordy! well at least the buses were back running so I had a good chance of getting Evie to her childminder.

She went - and I went to work... did some work and came home! Evie wanted to make more snowmen but the snow is too dry and only stuck to our gloves.. I suddenly realised that our house has loads of icicles hanging off the front of it and then saw our outside tap... EEK! It looks kinda arty but I know that unless it's turned off (and it's NOT!) it may burst... I may live with a plumber but does he remember these things before the weather gets cold..

7 Jan 2010 - day 7

yet another below freezing day today - worst weather in the UK in 30 years (in that case I was actually alive the last time it was this bad!)

Evie and I went to a friends for lunch but I will be back at work tomorow.

I have done enough today and decided that I will take my knitting to bed and see if I can add an inch or so. I am making Evie a little bag to take out with her - and I am making it on the fly!

2 Jan 2010 - day 2

Today has been a nice lazyish Saturday - even with the step kids being here - haha. We've watched films - popped to the shops and generally had a nice time.

The only lil moan was the dusting of snow overnight - I am hoping it doesn't lead to any more falling tonight as the week before Christmas we had plenty and it made the roads dangerous - snow falling, turning to slush, freezing overnight and having more snow on the top of that!

Oh - and one more day until back to work :(

1 Jan 2010 - day 1

Again I will attempt to create a project 365 blog - I managed half a year in 2009 but I waited for a pic that I took on a friends device and lost time waiting.

So a new year and a new blog.

My daughter is 27 mths old and like all kids enjoys playing in the garden... mummy however didn't really want to today as it was below freezing out! I wrapped Evie up nice and warm and then she asked for her sunglasses as it was so bright out. I thought she looked awesome :D
